Mail and Calendar crashing on Windows Phone

    Mail and Calendar crashing on Windows Phone


    Anyone seeing the Mail and Calendar apps crashing on Windows Phone?
    The appears to be due to an update issued on 07 Nov.
    I'm using a Nokia Lumia 930 running 14393.2551, and the Mail and Calendar app is (the latest) 16006.11001.20083.0.
    If I try to open the Calendar or Mail app, they start to open, pause for about 1 second, then shut down and throw me back to the Start Screen.

    Jep, facing the same issue on a 535... No idea what could solve it for the moment?

    I'm running 1809 (Build 17763.55). I have been experiencing AppHang and AppCrash errors from UWP apps also. Checking Reliability Monitor, I see Application Frame Host, Windows Shell Experience, and Photos (all UWP apps or supporting infrastructure) suffering MoAppHang or MoAppCrash errors in the past week. Sigh.

    My calendar and mail starting crashing on my Icon with ver 16006. I still have ver 16005 on my PC with no problems.

    I have auto update turned off in the store for now.

    Absolutely same with my Nokia 930. Hard reboot did nothing after update.

    Sounds the really end for the last of us using windows mobile ...
    I cant understand why a patch hasnt been released yet. Maybe microsoft hope we quit

    My Windows phone is now a dead end backup phone - gone over to a basic Moto G6 which is fine.

    MS have released a new version of the Mail and Calendar app, 16006.11001.20100.0, which works on the Nokia series of Windows Phones.

    It should download automatically in time, but you can also update in the Store. In the store app, Hamburger Menu -> Downloads and updates -> Get Updates.
