    Cannot install Macrium Reflect 7

I have win10 1809. When I try to install macrium reflect 7 message tells me that I am trying to install with a 32bit installer on a 64 bit system and will not load. When I download the installer it says I am running a 64 bit installer I have checked this on about six attempts to load it. I did have an 32 bit macrium installed and I have uninstalled it I have gone through hard drive and deleted anything I can find in macrium and reflect it seems that the 32 bit installer is still hiding somewhere or is it a problem with macrium and 1809 can someone help

This rather begs the question 'how?'. Neither the 7.1 or 7.2 32-bit installer will allow you to install 32-bit Macrium on a 64-bit system.

No, I have just installed it successfully on x64 1809.

Where did you get the 64 bit installer from? It should clear up previous versions when it runs. Try getting a new copy of the latest installer direct from Macrium, for Macrium Reflect Free go here:
Macrium Software | Macrium Reflect Free

If you choose the Home edition you will download ReflectDLHF.exe. Run that to download the installer which will be named v7.2.3825_reflect_setup_free_x64.exe. Then run that to do the install.

I very much doubt you have the 32-bit installer 'getting in the way', but if it is on the system then a search for *reflect*x86.exe should find it, and search for relect*x86.msi to find the unpacked version of the installer.

What is the file name of the installer you are trying to run?

    It's in " C:\Windows\Installer " which is a hidden folder.

Hover cursor on files with .msi extension (or right-click/Properties > Details tab) and delete any "Paramount Software" installer(.msi).

Macrium does not remove its installers (and .wim) from "C:\Windows\Installer" when uninstall it.

Thank you HeM I have done what you said and have been going through files checking for macrium reflect or paramount I found a few then I had a brainwave remembering I had a 32bit pc fully up to date with macrium on it so I went through that and found all files for macrium and wrote them down so I could check on 64 bit pc. this is were it has gone wrong I have done all what you say but when I do search of C drive with windows installer it does not come up with any installers it did on previous searches but it does if I search macrium or other objects. when I did a search before on the 64 bit I saved the results to a file but this has disappeared and I cannot find it anywhere I have tried search trouble shooter closing down pc but these have not found anything have you any thoughts on what I have done or how to correct it do you think it could be caused by trying to save last results
