    You're welcome!

Search results should be saved in " C:\Users\Your_username\Searches ".
Never mind if you cannot find it.

What about Macrium installation? Have you managed to install it?

Note: You have to find and remove "Paramount software" .msi files only from " C:\Windows\Installer ". Do not search for them with Windows search because those files(.msi) might have alphanumeric names like this:

I tried everything you suggested but I had to do a system restore as the windows installer could not be found in pc it was there as I had used it. The installer and files all came back after doing this I have deleted all paramount files and installers I can find but it still tells me I am trying to use a 32 bit installer though the download say it is a 64bit is there any other way I can get this program onto my pc maybe by usb

Did you try downloading another copy of the installer in case the one you already had was corrupt? For Macrium Reflect Free go here:

Macrium Software | Macrium Reflect Free

If you choose the Home edition you will download ReflectDLHF.exe. Run that to download the installer which will be named v7.2.3825_reflect_setup_free_x64.exe. Double-check you have the right file name before running it to try the install.

Perhaps you have to install again 32bit Macrium, then uninstall it (without modify anything else), in case something went wrong on previous uninstall. Then try to install 64bit again.

I just hope for my suspicions, about the way you usually install/uninstall a program, to be wrong...

HeM The reason I uninstalled the 32 bit macrium was because it would not open I used the uninstall program in windows it did not remove it all so I had to do it manually but it seems for some reason I could not find the crucial file

I still don't understand how you managed to install 32-bit Macrium on a 64-bit machine. The Macrium 7 installer will not let you do that.

If you used a similar method to force a 32-bit install I'm not surprised the 64-bit installer was having problems. You had presented it with a starting point that was not meant to be possible.

At least you seem to have got it sorted now, hopefully there should be no such problems for future upgrades of Macrium.

Perhaps the problem comes from a registry mess after your...weird installation of 32bit Macrium. In that case, resolving is difficult or even impossible. I don't know if a Repair Install (keeping your files & apps) can help, given that those registry changes have been made by a program and do not affect any OS function. But you can try it, if you like:

I didn't know that you cannot install 32bit Macrium on a 64bit Win, as @Bree has mentioned, whose question now is my question too.
