Sharex is the fastest at scrolling capture I've seen.

I can't get Picpick to install. I downloaded the free version. It showed clean on a virus scan.
I tried to install ... click OK ... and nothing happens. The installer exited, and then nothing.
That's on two different Win 10 computers.
    Whuzzup with that?

    Then ...
Duck failed to do its claimed scrolling capture.
    Greenshot doesn't do scrolling captures.

So I'm back to Windows snipping tool. (I wish I still had old copy of Snagit. At least it performed properly.)
If I have done it right, here is the Picpick exe file I've saved in Onerive. See if you can use it...…..

P.S. The exe file could be an older version. You can update it after you have it installed.

If the link does not work for you, I apologize.

I think I spoke too soon.

I've done a scrolling capture ... but there's no way to save it! And there's no help screen.

There are upload options that I've not tried. But I don't want them. I just want to save a file.

Doesn't work. This is not a standalone program. It requires an installer.

If you configure "After Capture tasks" and click "Save image to file as" then as soon as you've done the capture you are prompted with a "Save as" dialogue every time. Easy.

If you've not set it up, that is a bit indirect, sadly: seems you click this:

    which takes you to this:

where you can then save it. (Don't know why that magnified circle pops up).

There may be a better way but I've not used this much.

It doesn't seem there is a help file.

I would go for Fire Shot

It can even scroll in both directions in order to not just capture the visible screen, an section, but the whole page.

There is a free and paid version

Please go back to my post #22.
I have posted a new link for the Inst.exe. See if that works for you.

Yep, tried that. Doesn't work. Will not save a capture.
Also fails to capture really long pages (like this forum thread). It stops at about half-way done.
