How to change keyboard shortcuts Win 10 photo app (help)

Hi (sorry if i post this is the wrong section i'm new)
The title is self explanatory , i did a little bit of searching around but i can't find a proper solution and i don't want to do something wrong with the system
I want key Z to rotate left and key X to rotate right , without using CTRL
Can i do that ? Thanks

How do you change keys used by Photos?

I think the answer is you can't. The UWP apps are pretty simple and won't offer settings options, and certainly not registry keys or old ini files as they have nothing to do with these, using a different paradigm to traditional exe/dll programs.

Potentially you could use Autohotkey to conditionally change the function of those keys when Photos is in focus.
If that's possible (I've never tried exactly that) you might only need about 4 lines - a conditional test and a line to define what the key does.

Extract from the extensive Autohotkey (free scripting language) help of the command you might use to send the existing key combo to Photos.

Note too, this requires interaction with UWP apps. Again, I've not tried that, as Autohotkey was written in the context of traditional desktop programs, and that would require research or experimentation.

Autohotkey is well supported with an active forum.

A script could be a one line text file, which you can run just by double clicking on it.
Plenty of examples of use in the help file.
