Does anyone know how to clear ALL the Live Tiles from the Windows 10 Start Menu using a script or by editing a file/files?
Have tried a number of Registry Edits, adding and deleting keys, but to no avail...
The goal is to have a Start Menu with no extra space to the right of the alphabetised programs column.
Is there anything wrong with rt clicking them and unpinning them?
And if you want a great tile-free menu that's far better than Win 10's, use Classic Shell/Open Shell (free).
(You can still use Win 10's with that installed).

I'll look into those threads, but I've tried most of the Super User thread already with no success.

However they didn't give a clear description of how they solved the Tile problem. Would be nice if they clarified or if someone else explained what it was they did that was proven to work...
I have tried it a little and when I create an empty Start and then re-write full, it gets cleared.
But I guess, that default user ID is random, though it might give you an idea, how to proceed.

That method doesn't work any more (not that it ever did really - you could only fix stuff and then it couldn't be changed).
In the past there was a database in %lacalappdata%\TileDataLayer but this hasn't been used for several years now.
Perhaps someone knows where it is stored now but it definitely isn't there - you can delete the whole directory and it makes no difference.
