Cortana Help - how to go to open programs

I have just been playing with Cortana commands and I can open programs fine, like word and excel, but I would like to be able to go directly to an open program - one that is already open by saying go to word, but this just opens another word window. Is this possible?

    Cheers,
    John.

Cortana is limited in what it can do. For example, you can launch programs, but not close them.

For a wider command set, try Windows Speech Recognition (yes, it's there.. been there since Vista.... just type 'speech' in the search field).

Thanks Dalchina, There is a list of commands below that shows the "switch" command, however, that won't work with Cortana, at least not on my computer anyways. It says "here is what I found" and then info about the program I told it to switch to and how to switch to it

Hi, no, not Cortana. Those commands are, as I said, for: Windows speech recognition - which has existed since Windows Vista - so definitely not Cortana.

    You're looking for this:

And as I said- to get there:
just type 'speech' in the search field
    - and click -yes- Windows Speech Recognition.
