For some reason, even after using wushowhide tool, Windows reinstalled the update anyway. Is there anything else that I can do to prevent the update? I'm now having the problem again...

When you used that tutorial, was the update offered so that you could choose to hide it?

    a. Stop Windows 10 Updates Properly and Completely Solved - Windows 10 Forums
    - then use Windows Update Minitool (free) for manual scans - offers a hide option too
    b. Upgrade to Pro - you then have options via the Group Policy Editor
