    can't locate .msi file

I recently updated Paintshop Pro X9 to Paintshop Pro 2019 (purchased online with a digital download). Today I was advised that there was an update and tried to install it. however very soon after the update started it requested the location of the PSPPro.msi file. Despite several attempts I cannot locate this file anywhere on the computer, presumably because it was created as a temporary file at install but deleted afterwards. can anyone advise how I can resolve this issue please?

Hi, you may well find it here (example shown - O&O Diskimage):

For programs where there is a Repair option, there will or should be a corresponding msi file:

If you wished, you could find the msi file name in the registry:

Hi, Thanks for the quick response, however i cannot locate the Windows (C:) > Windows > Installer folder and Paintshop Pro 2019 doesn't appear to have a Repair function.

A simpler thought: How did you install PSP, via a streaming install, the download then save then install or install from a CD or DVD? That is the file the program is looking for, the streaming install may not have saved the file to your drive. As I recall Corel has a way to redownload their programs.

Thank You. That must be the issue, it was a digital download which was saved and then installed. I looked on the Coral website for an updated installation file, but it doesn't appear to be available yet.

By default downloaded files go in the C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Downloads Folder, should still be there unless deleted or maybe a different Folder was specified at the time.

All manner of possibilities there- e.g. my browser download by default to
    C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Temp

    - note Temp
    - so readily removed.

Downloaded setup files I want to keep are in a folder on E:

Thanks for your assistance, following you mail I found the original download installation package (zipped) and the necessary files were in there. Thank You.
