    @Edwin
    does it have these 2 requirements

    1) CD ripping
    2) tagging via CDDB.

    As I said the OLD (PRO) version works beautifully even on latest W10 (insider preview) versions so IMO why not just make that pro version FREEWARE and release it -- seems better than trying to re-work something that's already out there and works fine.
