Hi, as that's Win 11, maybe there's a thread on Qttabbar on
    elevenforum.com

    - which supports -yes- Win 11.

Sure its not Win10, but I have a dual boot running both Win10 and Win11 with the same outcome.

I don't use dark mode so can't comment further I'm afraid.

@tarsonis - Trying to look at your screenshot more closely I can't actually recognise it. It appears to be above the explorer address bar.. this is mine- what you show looks nothing like it.

Further, I'm guessing you maybe dragged the image into your post.. it doesn't expand when clicked on.

Here's how to post a screenshot:

-and there's a tutorial if needed.

And this is what the top right of my explorer looks like: (ignore the extra buttons).

It looks as if the light-cloured area is some kind of overlay.

Hey there, the screenshot is from basic Win11 with Dark mode enabled and QTTabBar. I do not use any other tweaks. This can be one of the stock themes that comes with Win11. It looks like an overlay but my guess it is "Light" mode but the text color is unchanged (dark mode text color). Switching transparency off/on or changing the theme color resolves the issue. I do this since +5 weeks on every open of explorer.... If Qtabbar wouldn't be so essential for my workflow I would have ditch that already.

Quick question, is there a way to see all open Tabs? Kind of like a "Tab Viewer", where one could see all the Open QtTabBar Tabs, and they would be grouped by each Window they're in. I often times have many File Explorer Windows Open, with multiple Tabs Open in each, and I hate having duplicate Tabs Open. Or more so, having the same Tab Open in different Windows. Being able to see each Tab Open, maybe in a list, or maybe in a visual grid viewer, I would find it immensely useful.

For an example of what I mean, I use this Web Browser Extension called Tabby. I would like to use a similar feature in QtTabBar.

I'm assuming this feature doesn't exist in QtTabBar. I went through the Options and didn't find anything, but maybe I missed something. Any insights are well welcome. Cheers!

I'm not positive what you need, but you can create groups & that will save a group of tabs. You could have several groups & have different groups of tabs open in different QTTabBar windows. Here's an example:

Indeed, I have just done another search to see if it exists, but to no avail.
However, a plugin or JS script could be created for QTTabBar, which I will do at some point if time allows xD
(anyone else feel free to jump in! :P)

Here's some quick notes I made for what such a JS script would contain.
    - reference: Scripting with QTTabBar - QuizoApps
    Code:
          - create .js file:
          - function inputbox (search phrase)
          - function gettabs
            - enumerate the tabs until search phrase is found
          - scripting.invokecommand -> setactivetab
I also use quick jump functionality for almost everything (app launch/switch, text editors, coding environments, web browsers, file search, etc), and QTTabBar is one of the most used, but still only one of the few ones missing out xD

Edit: You could extend this functionality to include multiple windows.
If you aren't aware, there is already a tab list functionality in QTTabBar, but only for the current window.
With a script or plugin you could extend it to include tabs from all opened windows, ideally with a search box for the quick jump functionality.

Thank you @phrab. As you said, it's not quite what I was looking for but I'll definitely check it out.

@Teasy... what is Quick Jump Functionality?? And no, I didn't know about the Tabs List Functionality. I did a quick search for it in the Options but didn't find anything. Also, as you said, for the Tabs List in the same Window, I'm seeing this as having only limited use as you can already see and read the Tab Titles that are already open. As for writing a Script, I do some "amateurish" Coding on the side with AutoHotkey, buy I don't know enough of other languages to develop a Plugin for QtTabBar. Perhaps in the future, with a lot of time and patience, but I wouldn't tell anyone to hold their breath on that 😉.

Maybe you could explain in more detail what you need. I find that QTTabBar has all the features that I need. I can open several windows, each with a set of tabs, which is what I thought you were looking for. If not, maybe you could post exactly what you want. Maybe I should have posted several showing groups of tabs.

    Hello,
thanks for this great app, I'm currently testing it, and I can say I enjoy it.

I'm wondering if I can add "Quick Access" to the Command Bar to open it with a single click?
