    File Explorer in W11 has neither a menu bar and the ribbon is different.
    Open File Explorer from: explorer shell:::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}

    not explorer.exe

    btw, is there a way for the win11 explorer not to override it? coz if i pin it in the taskbar then close and open again the win11 explorer is the one that is launch instead.

    Just out of curiosity, how did so many of you get Windows 11. I got my computer in 2017 & it says it's not eligible for Windows 11.

    It's really finicky!
    Pop over to QTTB-11F, I'll post some finding there.

    Don't feel left out. I'm still on Windows 10 - my PCs are not compliant - I'm just a W11 spectator right now. I'm not interested in playing with Insider Preview Builds at the moment.

    Just for interest: Qttabbar, background colours and - the explorer ribbon reappeared on Win 11 whilst gaining access to file explorer toolbar options:

    I imported my settings for Qttabbar from Win 10.

    When there are folders open, and I open up Control Panel, the whole Explorer window closes down and opens up again but only with the Control Panel tab open. Does anyone else experience this? I never experienced this on Windows 8.1. And to confirm that this is not because of some weird configuration I might have set up, I installed qttabbar on a Windows 10 VM and the same thing happened to qttabbar there. Is there some workaround for this?

    Hi, not seen this in 21H1...or at any time. If it's relevant, I have the bottom option enabled:
