There doesn't seem to be a shell command to open that directly- isn't it available in your Nav Pane anyway- or have you hidden it?

You can...
Rt click Quick Access
Click 'Pin to Start'
Now open the Start Menu
Drag that Quick Access tile onto your desktop.
Now open file explorer
Drag the Quick Access shortcut from your desktop onto the command bar.
By quick jump functionality I meant the ability to quickly jump to for example launch an application from the start menu, or jump to an already opened tab or program. I remember using some application launchers around the time of Windows 98, when the functionality didn't even exist in Windows yet. xD Nowadays this functionality is far more common across app launchers, app/desktop switchers, text editors, coding environments, web browsers, file search programs, etc, since it saves so much time not having to look manually anymore. Some awesome programs that I recommend that I rarely see mentioned are PowerPro (by Bruce Switzer), TreeSize/UltraSearch (by Jam Software), Vivaldi (browser) and of course QTTabBar (I also use AutoHotKey for many things)
Here's a screenshot demonstrating where to find the Tab switching option:
And what it looks like:
I use 2 utilities to accomplish those purposes which I find works very well. To launch applications, I use Launchy, which launches applications by typing a few letters. It actually learns shortcuts by itself. See this thread. Shortcut key doesn't work from desktop
To find folders, documents, etc., there's an application called "Search Everything". It's extremely versatile. You can use it to search everything or just folders or just documents, etc.
Hello, last time I reinstalled QTTabBar, something was annoying, and I supported using it. When I downloaded a file using IDM, when it finish, if I click on "Open folder", it open the folder, and after a few second, it open another window of that folder.
Back then, I thought it was due to fact that I restored a backup of QTTabBar settings , and something was messed up, and yes I used the same version of QTTabBar.
I freshly reinstalled Windows, then QTTabBar with Default settings, and still the same issue is happening. So not due to the backup... Back I was still on v.1040, because newer version was messing up my theme, and was lazy to work on it. So I move up to v.1043, annd still the same issue, opening to time the folder, after a download with IDM.
if someone got any idea, thx in advance.
yep, I did. When downloaded with Chrome, and open the Folder of the downloaded file, no problem at all.
So due to IDM + QTTabBar. I need both enabled.
I thought people around used that combo, and could inlight me with some feedbacks.
Maybe I should try another Download manager like IDM, that propose to you, to open the downloaded file at the end, to be definetly sure, it is kind of on IDM side issue....
