Hi all, am new here and using version 1043. Does anyone have any idea how to get the alternating lines in explorer a different color? Am using Windows 10 but can't figure out which settings I need in the options. Thanks for any tips :)

Nice one Steve. Never knew that existed. However, even in that tab, I don't see what to do to change the row color. I see the options, but I must be missing something. This is what boxes I checked:

Is there something obvious that I'm missing?
    Thanks in advance.

Additonal: I just noticed that after I applied the options, closed QTTabBar, the options seemed to be unchecked again.

Do tell us what you did aside from the link to get it to work. I've not tried yet.

@phrab, I don't see how to do it either.

    Hi guys,

I first selected all the conditions necessary, (did not specify a path, name or extension - so left that blank). After selecting conditions, clicked on the green + sign on the right and the rule was added to the window above. In order to make adjustments, just click on the rule and you can adjust the colors or conditions as required. Then click on APPLY.

    Perfect! Much more readable:

    Hi there.
This week I discovered QTTabBar, and I am very impressed with it's quality and features.
    I wish I knew of it before…

At the moment I am experiencing some issues regarding icons though:

    After installing QTTabBar:

    - When using NirSoft's FileTypesMan tool, trying to change file icons, FileTypesMan completely freezes when simply clicking [browse…] (for an icon)

    - Dropbox files and folders on my PC used to get overlay icons that e.g. indicate if a file or folder is synced to DropBox.
Not anymore. Only the default icons will show and won't dynamically change anymore.

    W10 21H2, QT 2048 beta 2

It looks like QTTabBar keeps some lock on icons that makes it impossible for other apps to do something with them?
    Could somebody verify this?
