Hi,
I plan to install Windows 10 Pro from scratch on my new workstation, and I'm wondering what version of QTTabBar I have to go for?
Should I go for the latest 1043? Is it stable?
Using Windows 11, installed QTTabBar 2048 Beta 2. Every time I start my computer, I get this popup now. "You are attempting to open a file of type 'System file' (.QTTabGroup)"
Didn't have this issue with Win10 & v1043.
I believe this is caused from the startup entry "QTTabBar Desktop Extension StartUp". Is there anyway to suppress this popup from happening every time I start the computer? I believe the startup item is crucial to loading QTTabBar into the shell and deleting the startup entry isnt an option - plus it will rebuild the entry when launched.
This happens on all the Win11 computers I have it installed on.
Thanks for any insight.
I had the same fault. I reinstalled QTTabBar and the fault disappeared.
- I suppose that the beta contains an installation process problem
- The fault reappeared when I uninstalled the utility and I had to delete that startup item manually.
- I suppose that the beta also contains an uninstallation process problem

Hi guys,
QTTabBar was working perfectly fine for me until recently, but now keyboard shortcuts don't work anymore.
I use version 1038 on Windows 10 up to date 21H2 (19044.1415).
Any idea to help me?
