Been using QTTabBar v1043 for a few days. Personally, I don' t see any differences/improvements between it and v1042 - it's working fine for me.

Well, I thought that I had the problem solved, but it came back. It's a rare occurrence, so I can live with it, but I may have found it. My backup location was "C:\Users\Phil\Documents\QTTabBar Settings Backup"\ & I don't know why I put it in quotes & a backslash. When I went to Options/Misc & just navigated to the location, it came in as C:\Users\Phil\Documents\QTTabBar Settings Backup. No quotes & no backslash. I also have it set to backup automatically every 7 days, which may explain why it happened so rarely. So now that I've changed it, I'll see if I get the message again.
Oops, yes, I neglected to mention Extra View. It was in v1042, but I don't recall using it, so the whole Extra View + Navigation Pane is new for me. I haven't really had a chance to use it much on v1043 now, but did use it just a bit.
As far as the analyzer tool and file attribute editor, I haven't quite figured out what those are yet or even how to invoke them![]()
Okay, so I made some progress on the new analyzer tool and file attribute editor feature.
For demonstrating
"(Changes in 1043)
- Built-in folder analyzer tool and file attribute editor."
From: QTTabBar > Options > Command Buttons
I created two new test buttons - one for the Analyzer Tool and one for the Filer Attribute Editor and put them on my QT Toolbar.
See screenshots below for how I created each button and the results of clicking on the button.
I would have expected these buttons to exist already on a toolbar or menu - did I miss them?
Let me know if you have questions.![]()

Not sure this is caused by QTTabBar, but when I would open File Explorer (say a Downloads folder that's pinned to the taskbar or a folder that's opened with "Search Everything"), the focus used to be on the files in that folder, so that I could use the keyboard immediately to get to a file.
All of a sudden, the focus is on the navigation column & I have to use Tab to switch the focus to the files. Is there a setting in QTTabBar that affects that?
Thanks in advance.
