Since I'm using this tool I have the issue with the menu ribbon on the top of the Explorer window.

After a short time I cannot switch between the viewing modes (Extra big symbols, big, symbol, list, details etc.).

I have to close the Explorer window and oen it again and it works.

    Any idea?

    Thanks.

I hope this thread isn't dead! I'm having a small issue with QTtabbar and was hoping someone here could point out the setting I need to adjust. The issue is that in the Programs and Features control panel, whichever column is active turns white, making the text in that column unreadable. Since Programs and Features opens in a File Explorer window, it has to be something in QTTabBar causing this. Here's a screenshot of the issue:

If anyone can point out where the setting is that controls this, I'd appreciate it! Thanks!

Dalchina, seems to me this QTTabBar is not so GUI user friendly. I'm trying to change Explorer window background color and nothing's happening. QT looks like an impressive office app, I like the options I see (the ones that I can kind of figure out what they do). I always liked how your Explorer windows have a pale yellow look. So I changed from Dark to Light scheme in Settings/Colors. But the Options dialogue is very technica', mentions things I'm not familiar with. A bit confusing to say the least. Looks like a lot of importing & exporting settings & hooks and dlls and whatnot.

There's no user friendly version of its manual? Or is everything hive-related now. Yikes.

    Summary - QTTabBar Manual

    - I searched for qttabbar guide

Setting the appearance is easy to try- just click a box, change a colour and see how it looks. You can pick any colour of course.

But that's just one of the things it adds- tabs in explorer or course, and folder expansion like this:

There are things I never use- extra panes for example.

What box? You mean This box?...

I forget how to even make them appear.

    *edit*

I just read your post above my first post. I also have the same problem as Bg4m3r (white background).
I'll try your fix for that particular problem as well.

    - that's a general non-specific statement- any box that is appearance related.

There's a LOT of appearance related boxes. I guess I'll just poke around till I find it.

That manual you linked to is the only one I can find in any online search. It's deceptively written.

I'm sure it's designed to trick you. Manuals usually are. Watch out!

Nah, what I meant was that it has a lot of very common words to me that mean very different things to those who know how to program & code etc. (those who the manual was written for).
