Surely...,

Right click on your Taskbar, expand Toolbars, check mark QT Tab Desktop Tool...



Mouse hover and right click on the newly created QTTab Desktop Tool Toolbar and investigate all the options...

..., then, go to Options and investigate a host of possibilities for the feature...

I began a complete video tutorial on QTTabBar, about 2½ years ago but gave up on it after repeated attempts at editing approximately 2 hours of video!!!

Also, after repeated requests for help and permission from the developer, and getting no answer, the project sits way back on the far back burner!!!

I've forgotten where the setting is, but your mouse may supercede various settings in QTTabBar. For me, I double click on a blank spot on the desktop & it opens a list of recent files/tabs/groups/applications/desktop files. My mouse middle click is programed to start the magnifier.

Thx. I found it. It is the before last Tab in Setting of QTTabBar. but did not catch yet how to mod the mouse click how you did, just for QTTab menu, double click on Desktop or single click on Task Bar and so on, they are here:

got interested by the magnifier programed for middle click, but if I am not wrong this is no related to QTTabBar, but more with software of yur mouse I guess, because in QTTabBar I did not find option to mod mouse clicks...

Thx you, I found it in QTTabBar settings, and it explained me how to enable it. but your explanation are also welcome.
Even gave me idea to add preview to more media than just image & photo as I have been using for now... and maybe to some file type more.
I also deplore that MAJ preview is not customizable for from type file. I mean I wanted to enable auto preview for image anf photo ( prreview by mouse over the media) and preview for some other type only why MAJ is pushed. That is why finally I disabled for other media... cause was disturbing with music and videos a bit..... guess I will investigate Preview feature again for some file types.....
BTW, how did you manage to get complete date format at SysTray ??

lol, I dont doubt that it took 2h editing videos, and even surprised it took ONLY 2h editing!! with such endless tool as QTTabBar, gona spend more time recording, and more editing , and at the end, gona find out you forgot about for features... lol
what disturb me the most is when I am on a different PC than mine, I use to Double left click in a folder to get back from folder, then I remember, damn there is no QTTabBar on this PC..... lol
