Is there a free or trial version of MiniTool Partition Wizard Portable that is authorized. I came across a couple of versions that looked suspicious. A cursory look on the website revealed no evidence of one. Thank you.

Can't find one. I have a contact at MiniTool and have asked for confirmation of its existence or lack thereof (a portable version of the MTPW). I'll follow up with a yea or nay when I get it. That said, I'm out the door to a trade show this afternoon and not back at my desk till Thursday, so that might be a while . . .

Very interesting : ) Thanks for the link. I notice some of the comments indicate that even the portable version writes files to the system. In addition the only other thing that may give me pause is that to the right of the page on top under article info it says Publish On: 2016-4-6 which makes it 2 and a half years old if in fact they have not been updating the portable version. Before I go ahead and give it a go I believe I will wait and see what if any Ed is able to report back on later this week (see above post from Ed). Thanks again.

The only thing that's potentially concerning is the date on the file. But I just went and checked the file dates on my $$$ version, and they're nearly identical -- both are dated in January 2017 -- so I'd say it looks like something you can use. That said, I've never tried the portable version myself, but regularly use both the free and for-a-fee installable versions on numerous systems.
