Hey, i remember at the begining of september or so cortana had a changed look and was wider..
out of the blue it reverted back to the old look...
is this happening to everyone?
how do i get the new look back?
MS was experimenting. Some users saw that changed appearance - it's not something you have control of, sorry.
Interesting, I've not see the new look Cortana in 1803 though I've seen a few others report seeing it.
However, it is now the standard Cortana look on all machines I've updated to 1809. With the 1809 rollout now suspended due to mass deletions of user files, updating to 1809 is NOT a recommended way to get 'new Cortana' back - but it's something @Steven Campoli can look forward to if/when MS fix the issues and restart the rollout.
I got the new wider look (which I didn’t like) but then after a CU a short while back the narrower look was back but since getting 1809 it’s back to wide! Can’t seem to make its mind up. Wish they’d bring the interests/cards back!
