    Simple realtime lightweight CPU benchmark

I'm looking for the simplest (lightweight, small executable) Windows program to benchmark CPU. I know there are tons of ways to see your CPU core utilization in percentage and you can see your CPU current/maximum MHz setting (for example with Core Temp).

I know that there is Prime95 which utilizes 100% of all cores. I'm basically looking for Prime95 with a very simple graph or number telling me how fast the program is currently calculating (like a realtime FLOPS display).

Why do I want this? Core Temp is good, but I have a situation where I have fluctuating Min/Max MHz (as in what is set in Power Options / Processor power management / Min and Max processor state). And I have fluctuating CPU reserved for other processing. So I want to be able to very quickly check how much pratical processing power I have currently available without having to check the max MHz and the amount of other processes using CPU.

    What program does this?

Cinebench r15 a classic. Free, portable, accurate, lightweight

Edit: doesn't do what you like

I think I found what I need: CPU-Z. It has a nice feature: Bench CPU. It quickly does a stress test and gives a result. However, now I'm wondering how do I get my i7-8700 CPU to go up to 4600 MHz. According to Intel Core™ i7-8700 Processor (12M Cache, up to 4.60 GHz) Product Specifications the turbo frequency is 4600 MHz but it clearly maxes out at 4300 MHz. My BIOS says:
    • Target CPU Turbo-Mode Frequency 4600 MHz
    • Target Cache Frequency 4300 MHz

So it seems to max out at that cache frequency. How do I get it to max out on that turbo mode frequency?

In this case (CPU-Z is good enough), you could just run Windows own CPU test (in command prompt - you can make shortcut).

    Code:
    winsat cpuformal

Oh yes, this "winsat cpuformal" is great for doing it without having to install anything, thank you! (In a way CPU-Z does the job faster, it tells the multi thread result almost immediately without waiting.)

Ty this (CPU-Z is fine :
    Code:
    winsat cpu -encryption2
    Quick, for all cores
