Can't be disconnected, it's windows drive.

Ok guys, I did full scan with HDtune and it end with one red square/sector.
However, I don't think this is related by any mean to my problem.
I've redownloaded the program several times, ran it on different drives, all OS compatibility modes.
The program is 478kb, so most likely won't be affected by bad sector?

And my system is very stable, no crashes, BSOD or any sort of problem.
Which makes me certain it's OS issue. I'll replace the bad drive no worries.

I've noticed in the task manager program called "Windows Malicious software removal" or something after the update when the problem started, but it's no where now.
Could be the Defender is preventing this program from running? Or some MS security nonsense again?

full scan with HDtune and it end with one red square/sector.
That's consistent with the HD Sentinel report- 1 weak sector.

What is significant there is the high number of faulty sectors already swapped with the reserve (manufacturers make HDD's with extra sectors allowing for a. manufacturing faults, b. as you are seeing, progressive failures during life.

You may now be at the very limit of being able to create a normal image of your system disk or clone it. Another week, another month, and you may not be able to.

Note the other fault indications given by HD Sentinel about data transfer problems.

Suggest you take up your issue with the program supplier- do they have a forum or support?
And are you now using the latest version?

I have already commented on the BEX error and suggested what you can try (add it to the DEP exception list).

No worries, I make backups regularly.

Sadly, most programs I use are made at XP times, and some developers stopped updating at 7.
I guess they got sick of revision their programs, with MS dropping their OSs and make new one every year.
    Well can't blame them.

The funny thing, I've downloaded an older ver, it worked fine.
Just that specific later ver that won't work.

Gonna disable exploit protection and give it a shot.

    That's actually worked dalchina.
Disabled the DEP, did a restart and the program is running fine again.

Too bad the others still won't run.

Thank you dalchina and CountMike for supporting me with my issue.
I'll mark this thread solved and put the solution in the first post.

I Knew it was MS security nonsense.

Not security in the sense of protecting your PC against exploits trojans, viruses or attackers.
That's disabling protection against bad programming, or a program which is incompatible on those grounds.

As such, there's a risk of the program crashing or causing a crash on that count by trying to use RAM improperly.

So I suggest you take this up with the author..

Glad it worked out for now. The clue was the BEX error.

    Thank you.

MS is taking security measures beyond belief, ruining user experience.
Sent a program crash report to MS, hopefully they will improve their system.
At this rate, windows will become just like Mac.

That's almost certainly not an MS problem - rather MS is trying to protect you from a programming error. Your issue is with the program author, not MS.
