    Skype issue

So I am on a Skype call with a friend, while playing a game. I can hear all his system sounds and his game come through. We also tried Discord and Teamspeak, same thing.

He only had one Mic shown in record Tab, hidden devices shows no others.

    Stereo Mix is not enabled

All sounds are set to be separated.

System sounds still come through, what should we try next?

Yes, headphones. It does it for games, and just in the chat calls with no game running. He can play a song in WMP, and it comes through in the call

Does he have options like these ?
If so ask him to disable Virtual Surround, Loudness Eqalization, DTS Audio, Dolby Digital,
    and then restart / logout
    ( not the 48kHz )

And see if that does the trick :)

Thanks, we already tried that. He switched to another headset and it went away.
