Tyler that ISO is from January 16, 2017... and has been downloaded over a million times Worldwide.. And it is still available in certain circles... But Yes, disable Windows Defender, extract the compressed file - then allow exception to that extracted folder, then restart windows defender..

I know, but as I wrote in my post about asuming that Additions should be used, I don't quite understand how to use that plugin... I wrote what I tried with it.
PM me your registry file as a .txt attachment - and tell me the path of the program.exe when booted into XPE. I will send you the Additions script filled out - so you can see how I did it...

I assume you know how to convert registry setting with Reg Convert PE ?
Since you are not using the registry setting from within an application script - then you will have to edit the variables in the Regwrite (lines)
then you copy those lines into the registry section of the Additions script, by selecting the "edit" button, then Save your edits...
Then check the "Additions" box in left pane... Then rebuild your XPE

Also there are Optional scripts available to download under utilities... Pretty much sure most all of the portables you use are included already as part of the Add-On Package.. As I have not received any type of request for additional software, in a long while...

Thank you Kyhi. I disabled Defender on the file, extracted it and no further problems with Trojan warnings.

I started to read the PDF help file and it is 48 pages as you know. In the past (using the existing ISO I have) all I needed to do is just insert an empty USB Drive into my PC, open Rufus and point it towards the ISO file and then the whole thing was done in about 2 minutes.

What I am wondering is if there is perhaps another simple option available of a newer version of the winpese-x64-14393_17.01.16.iso ISO I am running and which I could also install to a thumb drive just as easily (and which might have a newer version of Acronis running on it)?

    Thank you...

HI i just installed Win10XPE and made my first ISO. I have some questions in my mind and you experts can help me..

    1. I want to know that in user logon is there is any option switch to Admin, any command in order to use teamviewer. I know in build core have option switch to admin, if i not use this under user logon condition can i switch to admin or not ?

    2. I am using Windows 10 64bit , can same system can be used for x86 or 32 bit for making iso, i think i have to uncheck wow64 in buildcore or i have to used win10xpe folder in another 32 bit system in order to making iso ?

    3. Notepad pop comes langs.xml failed in iso..
    4. Easeus partition manager 14, when i hit play button, error comes downloading .exe failed.
    5. Also UltraISO premium not being registered besides i already put working username and serial number in iso... in host pc working fine with same serial number..
    6. Have anyone poweriso script..
Kindly give you advice and guidance...Thanks...

I have more questions than answers but @Kyhi will know.

Why do you need admin in PE?

Any app that uses PE should not need registration as there is no persistency.. like UltraISO portable etc?

    in order to use teamviewer.
I was able to login as admin first, then can switch back and forth. But if logged onto system first, then cant switch..

It is not something I would normally use, so I dont bother with it now on my builds.

Hi, thanks for all reply... log on as user, there is no such switch account to admin process... so i think it will be better under build core check ✔ to "switch to admin" and timer set to zero so that admin runs at startup and we take full control benefit and some working apps like TeamViewer which runs only in under admin mode...

You need it if you need to download files via Internet Explorer.
