    No problem, I didn't follow for bob.omg Pre-Made ISO and his plugin.
    A odd choice to do it in powershell but if it works...
    For your information, I have completely turned the page on PESE and I'm quite proud of XPE's result. Thanks to Kyhi, APT,..

    Honestly, PESE might have quite an array of plugins probably, but even I am quite impressed with XPE too, it is indeed quite an astonishing project. Keep up the good work, I might not be of too much help with it though, but really glad to see people coming about together and making something special.

    I couldn't test PESE much and in my couple runs, I couldn't even get it to make anything beyond the basic build. But thanks to all of you for this great work.

    EDIT: There's an issue with using the change theme shortcut when in administrator mode. Not sure if it's a LTSC issue or not, guess I should try changing my source soon.
    EDIT: Seems like in administrator account it isn't starting explorer once it is killed, while it does fine in system user account.

    That is an XPE bug - detected a while back..

    @ChrisR will have to try to work his magic on both..

    Alright. Although just adding another line to start the explorer makes it work, I don't think I saw an unintended effect of it in system more either, will test again. Just add
    pecmd.exe exec explorer.exe at the end of switchtheme.cmd

    there may also be a "Key" somewhere in the "System" account that will auto-restart explorer.exe

    Not much time this WE
    It is the SHEL command of Pecmd that allows the automatic restart of the defined Shell

    The current command line written in pecmd.ini is:
    Code:
    FIND $%USERNAME%=SYSTEM,SHEL %WinDir%\explorer.exe

    The System user is tested because, under the Administrator session, Explorer is already started automatically from:
    Code:
    HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon,Shell,explorer.exe

    I didn't have the time to test different config but apart from the StartIsBack message, it doesn't look too bad by doing it this way, by changing in Pecmd.ini
    Code:
    //FIND $%USERNAME%=SYSTEM,SHEL %WinDir%\explorer.exe
    ==>
    KILL explorer.exe
    SHEL %WinDir%\explorer.exe

    Startisback message that prompts you to hold escape to prevent it from reloading/restarting too? That comes in System too.

    Oh, one more thing. I noticed that winxshell/explorer++ gets installed even if you select explorer shell. And that, additional plugins have start10 but since there's no option to disable startisback, we get two shells for the start menu. I guess there was no option included to keep it lightweight and simple for users.

    Yes, winxshell is included with explorer++ as file manager, it is quite light.
    winxshell is used, among others, to change the screen resolution from desktop Context Menu

    For Start10, no problem, StartIsback is uninstalled in Start10 plugin

    I get the same results with the Installer and the XPE Application (Plugin) after several hours of testing..
    The issue is with /windows/system32/wg.exe - as that appear to be the (Tray Icon) ie Program Configuration File to setup Tunnels
    Maybe the driver must be integrated but I didn't succeed.. I think with Linux this would be an easy task

    But now I'm using OpenVPN which works (using OpenVPN Portable and install Driver with the supplied installer.. Tried to integrate the driver as well but didn't succeed..).. RemoteApp is working fine, tried a CAD programm which is running on my server from a remote thin client..

    But I have one problem, want to assign file types for several portable apps and therefore wanted to "Edit Target Hives" but when RegEdit opens it shows me the registry of my current PC, shouldn't it show the PE Registry? Or should I integrate the registry keys with pecmd.ini?

    Thanks for your kind help!
