@Kyhi, I need to add Runtime Software Addon to Win10XPE. I've looked at the various helps but for some reason I can't even figure out where to start. I have the script I downloaded from Runtime Software. The page contains directions for WinPE but Win10XP is different.

I downloaded the Runtime_Software_All.Script plugin from that page, but what do I do with it. Can you point me to the directions to follow?

I need this to get Drive Image XML working from Win10XPE so I can restore a DIXML backup of my web server C: to a new hard drive, as the old one died two days ago.

I tried their Knoppix based rescue ISO but it doesn't see the drive the backup image is on. Apparently it doesn't like 2TB drives.

Ha! It's already there. Either I removed it or it's not selected by default. Just selected it and will do a build and give it a try.

DIXML worked great from Win10XPE flash drive. Was able to restore my web server and it's now up and running again.

I have a strange problem maybe somebody has seen it before. I built a new XPE system, Customized it with several additional applications and created the ISO and burned it to a USB stick. It works really good and I'm happy with it.

However, I decided I wanted to add the ISO to my Window 10 boot menu, since I had added @Kyhi original recovery distribution to this boot menu. It also worked like a charm. So I decided to delete the old one and replace it with the new XPE build. It runs just fine when selected, but only about 50% of the desktop apps appear ?

I have not verified exactly which which apps are missing (How ever I know Macrium is one of them). I don't think there is a size limitation to the Boot menu ISO size ? Any ideas ?

The older ISO was all built to ram...
I would guess that you do not have access to Y:\Programs
Verify if Y:\Programs exists - if not then that the problem

Thanks - That is what I thought the problem was. Can I make all of the apps RAM resident ?

Thinking about this, I'm not sure I want to maintain another XPE environment and I may not have enough real memory !

The one on the USB that I built works like a charm (Already used it 3 times today - lol).

Hi, quite often users posting here need a live boot disk, and often I have pointed them to your excellent boot disk, Kyhi, for which many thanks.

However, I think some users would not be able to cope with this process.
    - They may have nothing to handle 7z

Would you mind if I suggested:
    - add instructions about what the addon pack is for and what to do with it- first mention seeems about page 3 in comments, unless I’ve missed something.
    - if explorer is set as default for zip and no other compression programs, how do they cope with 7z?
    - needs instructions as to how to create a bootable drive (perhaps add link/ reference to instructions in thread about original boot disk as to how to do that, recently added (thanks!) - with the option of burning to DVD for completeness.

Otherwise, would be too confusing for such people, perhaps already frustrated with a non-booting PC, and thus not used. I don't think I've yet come across a thread directing a user to this.

Does anyone else find the images in the pdf file in the Win10XPE folder unreadable? I normally have no problems with pdfs...
