I have just downloaded and extracted Win10XPE_ADDON-2019-07-19.7z.
Should I copy everything in \Win10XPE\Projects\ into \Win10XPE_2019-07-20\Win10XPE\Projects\?
    Yes Sir.

I am having trouble running my portable applications from w10PE
@lacruelrealidad : You have to go a long way ahead!

    1. Use good portable programs. Actually, an ideal / good portable program is one that have all the required things already included in the folder or executable. If not, portability is not practical but there are such programs.
I used some portable programs packed by PortableApps.com & they came out to be good enough but you never know.
I am planning to give them a try : Turbo Studio Express & VMware ThinApp

    2. Try to make plugins with your portable programs.
    Why ? Because. ...

    (i) It's quite easy!
Create Portable App Packed Plugins OR Here At Post #547

(ii) Once you have made your plugin, you can analyze your plugin with the inbuilt Utility ''Check Target Sys Files''& Then add the missing required Files By ''Additions''

    (A)Check Target Sys Files

    (B) Additions

    Win10XPE - Build Your Own Rescue Media-additions.png

    (iii) Plugin Specific Logs
You can analyze & share the specific plugin log to watch out for Warnings & Errors
To get a plugin specific log, one need not run the whole project. Just run the plugin / script by clicking the Green Play Button & go to logs.
    For eg. DISM++ Plugin

    (a) Run the Green Play Button to process DISM++64

    Win10XPE - Build Your Own Rescue Media-winbuilder-runing-plugin-individually.jpg

    (b) After the process completed, the logs are written for DISM++64. To see the related log, immediately go to the logs. If you run / do something else, the logs will be changed & updated for that.

    (c) You can save & share the plugin log : The log will be saved to Win10XPE folder.

    3. Try to include / check some essential items in the Project Interface to make sure that your programs dependencies are automatically met. It may increase the size but you have to try out the things!
Theortically : As many things you include, the more chances that you have a sufficient registry & everything there to run your portable programs. I think many things are shared between different apps.
But on other side : it may create some problems & conflict.

( To say again : Go through the logs after doing anything! )

I would suggest consider adding :

    (i) Build Core > Main Interface > Network Additions, Microsoft .NETFx4, Switch to Admin
( & You may want to increase WinPE Cache Size to 2048 MB )
(ii) You may try adding : Build Core > Build Options > Use Full Win10 Software Hive, Add All Win10 Catalogs
(iii) In Apps > Components > NET Framework 3.5 , MS Visual C++ Runtime & OTHERS!
    (iv) Up to you!

    4. Its clear whenever you make changes & run the project, the Win10XPE ISO in the win10XPE Folder is changed. If you find one useful, copy it to somewhere else before trying other things.

    5. To ease up your experimenting : You need not burn it to a DVD or Pen drive each time you want to test the new ISO / options. You can add them directly to your pc boot menu using the Utility :
XPE Host Boot Option : You can select between UEFI or MBR according to your system.
Add Host Boot Menu Option & Remove The Host Boot Menu Entry

    Thanks & Regards. ...

    Vineet,
I really could not agree with your testing practices - but you are talking about Adding "Portable" Apps...
The word "Portable" is deceiving as it really means the program will not write to the system / per say...

But what you are saying (#1) by adding additional Features and-or more Scripted Apps - is true
the more you add into the build of WinPE - then the more likely your "Portable" Apps will have the required system files present in the build..

Now when it comes to (#2) scripting Apps - I use the least amount of features and only 3 Apps to 1) test for registry changes, 2) test for file changes, 3) test for missing system files...

And yes this would be getting way ahead of the Entry Level Skills

Total Commander added to Custom Folder
In your screenshot, "Total Commander" has been added into \Custom\x64\AdditionalFiles\Program Files\.
    May I add personal files/folders into \Custom\Matthew Wai\?

    \Custom\x64\AdditionalFiles\Matthew Wai\
The "Matthew Wai" folder will be copied to X

Total Commander then copied to Target / Program Files
After adding \Custom\x64\AdditionalFiles\Matthew Wai\, do I have to copy the "Matthew Wai" folder into "Target / Program Files"? I cannot find "Target". Where is it?

    Do you mean the following?

After checking the box near "Add Your Custom Folder" and clicking on "Play", the "Matthew Wai" folder will be automatically copied from
    \Win10XPE\Custom\x64\AdditionalFiles\Matthew Wai\
    into
    \Win10XPE\Target\Matthew Wai\
    when Win10XPE_x64.iso has been created.

    Yes......

Think of the "Target" folder as the directory structure of X:\ when booted....
