Money App - Missing UK Fund Prices

Some of my UK funds on the Money app Watchlist now have a zero price whereas they used to have the correct price. I can search for the funds by symbol on MSN Money. This lists the correct fund but displays the price as zero and displays "Data not available"

It seems MSN Money is no longer listing many UK fund prices.

I've not used it for funds, just a few other items whose price moves during the day, but for one or two no graph data is available enough though the share or ETF price is shown.

Occasionally things are missing even on my investment platform.

There's a link to the Feedback Hub app from the smiley face, LHS. Takes a while as it's assimilating feedback on the app.

I left feedback via the app and on the MSN forum. Maybe some fund managers have decided they no longer want to pay MSN to list their prices?

It can be technical as to whether a particular platform receives prices. Yes, could be payment, or it could be non-receipt of certain certification (here I speak thinking of the case of of an investment platform) i.e. legal issues and delays.

I wouldn't rely on it as my prime source, and would like to find better. I used to have a convenient sidebar via Desktop Sidebar (discontinued).

My main interest in MSN Money is that I use MSMoneyQuotes which grabs price data from MSN Money and injects it into my trusty MS Money 2005 program.

    Hi folks
not an answer to OP but there's literally zillions of good free Trading packages out there these days -- If you are managing a portfolio with MSN money -- I suggest you change.

There's a whole slew of professional stuff too including real time not too expensive "level 1 and Level 2" quotes if you like doing "Day Trading"..
If you have any accounts with decent brokers you can often use their trading platforms free as well.

I believe for U.K this one works quite well for typical small / individual investors

Hargreaves Lansdown | ISAs, pensions, funds and shares

Note anything financial related you are strictly at AYOR !!!!!! but I have UK colleagues who say the above firm seems ok and you don't have to deal in mega millions !!!!

for grabbing historical (EOD) prices into a spreadsheet YAHOO finance works and they have a documented API to return all sorts of info (you need to enable VBA macros in EXCEL.

update : Yahoo seems to have been swallowed up by something called OATH ??

however for free EOD stuff and other links

10 New Ways to Download Historical Stock Quotes for Free
