I had the same problem. Installed anyway. I reckon it's a false positive.

If you read the posts in the thread you linked one of them mentions adware as being classed as software that prompts you for payment for additional features and to upgrade. I believe that is the case with the free version of this software.
Keep any eye on detection results by various scanners. 1-5 detections is usually a false positive detection.

That's a component of Sophos AV and nothing to worry about.

Currently I see only 2 detections. Kaspersky now scans clean - yesterday it flagged the program as adware.
