Merge bookmarks between two Firefox profiles?

    Merge bookmarks between two Firefox profiles?


    I created a second Firefox profile as an experiment. I created new bookmarks, forgetting that bookmarks only go into the current profile. Is there a way that I can merge the two sets of bookmarks, or to somehow copy individual bookmarks or folders of bookmarks between the two sets?

    Load the first profile >> Export all bookmarks to a file
    Load the second profile >> Import the bookmarks from the file.
    While there export the bookmarks to a file.

    There you go, you have a single file that contains all your bookmarks.

    Open the Show all bookmarks menu (CTRL+SHIFT+B)
    You can easily copy (CTRL+C) the bookmarks in the clipboard and paste (CTRL+V) them in another profile.
