Live tile on store app no longer ‘live’

So yesterday evening / early hours (UK) time the ms store app received an update. It all works ok in aftermath except on every single machine we own the tile pinned to start menu is no longer live. Just the store icon now. We tried turning live tile off and on several times from the start menu and within the app settings itself too. But nothing brings it to life, it’s essentially a non live time now. Anyone else see / notice this? Brandon Leblanc on twitter claims they don’t see the same but I have seen this at home and work machines ever since the recent update and want to see if others have it too and reinforce my assertion it’s a bug in their latest release

I've got nearly all my tiles sized to small. For a good while now, the small ones will randomly go blank. Word and PowerPoint are the worst ones. And some do not exhibit this behavior. They will stay that way until I resize them. Wonder if your and my tiles are having similar issues?

Yeah I’ve seen that happen to my pinned office ones too! On many machines. Another bad bug to add to the list. Generally that particular issue goes away if I either reboot or log out and back in but it’s a bad one. I know a non functioning live tile isn’t a major thing but it’s one of the few things I liked about Windows 10. Thanks for feeding back

You have to wonder about these things. Can't help but believe if MS paid more attention to what counts and less to packing in a load of Bloatware that no one needs ...
