I was looking at program files on my C drive and found a folder for Bad Wolf Software. I did a search and found that it is a program for writers. It also appears to be harmless. Just curious how it got there? I'm not a professional novelist, so I wouldn't need such a program.
It's possibly a PUP (potentially unwanted program) AKA it installed along with some other program.
Thanks, Neemo. It evidently wasn't caught by Malwarebytes (free) last time I ran it. Anyhow, after searching on Google, it appears harmless enough to just leave it alone.
Not me...I would run some other malware software. Then I'd uninstall it....it could be collecting data and sending it back for what ever reason(s).
Anything that installs on my systems without my permission is removed.
A good program does not need to sneak on a system.

Point well taken. The program doesn't show up on my list of programs. I went ahead and manually deleted the program.
