One of my desktop icons (gmail / shortcut) has always been a round red/yellow/green image.
Something I have donehas altered this to a blank white icon with a letter M in red upon it.
Your ideas on how to get this back to 'normal' would be appreciated.

Thats the new gmail icon have you tried in gmail the new interface as that would change the icon to the new one

Strange things happening tonight!!!!!
It certainly looks to be like the android icon for gmail - but I have not knowingly tried the new interface.
I deleted the icon, and set up a new one - this immediately gave me the original back once again
