I can't seem to install slimdrivers

It seems like i get a message that says this app can't run on your pc, if i try to install slimdrivers. I have been trying just about all the solutions i could find, but without any luck.

Solved by using this fix from microsoft.

Hmm, well, I might have tried, but this put me off:

    - why do you want to install a driver updater tool? We recommend these not be used routinely.

Presumably, despite the title, you're referring to just this particular program, are you?

Sounds like your computer is protecting itself from you!! You should download any drivers from the manufactures Support download site.

...and have you kept using the same installer for years too? 'This app can't run on your pc' can mean that you are trying to run a 16-bit app on a 64-bit machine. They can only run in 32-bit Windows, was that what you ran it on before?

They removed the offline installer. The online installer worked for me.

It can download and install an incompatible driver especially for sound/ graphics cards. Usually I stick to the ones provided by the computer manufacturer as they ten to work without issues.
