Thanks that’s very interesting will have a look at that......I removed lots of weird startup items ( multiple entries of steel journal renaissance and something else, with winpatrol, but it still showed in the window but as file not exists, I think it said, maybe after a reboot it will be gone for good....

thanks for all the amazing help now and in the past from your good self and other members of this forum, it really is appreciated...

If only disabled, they'll still show up, but won't run anymore at startup. Only if you delete the startup items will they be removed.

If you like, you could check the registry locations for them in the tutorial below, and delete them there.

Will check these locations also, but have managed to remove all the files, except Program.....obviously this throws up a lot of,hits, so will try your tutorial for this file....then they should all be gone........no,idea what program added these but it looks like it setup a browser emulator and other entries were in the firewall registry entry.......so much for free software....as they say, to mis-quote the original, saying ď you donít pay your money and take your chances ď

    thanks again

I use Autoruns to control startup items. You can delete or disable those you don't want and jump to the file or registry entry to find out what they are. See https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sys...loads/autoruns
