Would suggest renaming ccleaner.ini file to ccleaner.bak

It should create a new ccleaner.ini file and you'd then need to reapply settings.

I've now done that but don't know what that will achieve.
In any case pop up problem still occurs.

Have you deselected *.ccleanercloud.com? I don't and never will use cloud, but, I understand cloud will store cookies in the cloud and on your PC.
Anyone! Does CCleaner actually clean up "Cloud" cookies, tracking, temp files?

Yes I removed that from the saved cookies.

Sounds like monitoring is not active when you close the window?

I cannot test because I use the free version.

I get that impression too or ignoring the 'with notification' setting when I close the CCleaner window.

At the moment I can only suggest checking notification settings:

Everything is checked (on there) but I didn't see CCleaner listed, it was all tile apps.

I think I may have to live with the lack of notification, I can see the icon 'working'/cleaning & it does clean cookies.

I'm running the Free Version too. With Monitoring on, CCleaner shows up in Task Manager after I've closed the app.
