Windows Store Broken - Can't Seem to Fix

Hi, I get the following error when trying to launch the Windows Store app on latest Win 10.

I've tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling using the PowerShell as admin and I also tried resetting the cache. None of this has worked... any ideas?

    Hi orlando1974

I would try the inplace repair / upgrade. This process will upgrade you to v1803 if you are not using already. Please be aware.

It is a non destructive process but I always recommend having a data backup.

Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade

You didn't mention but are you running AV products other than Defender. Might be worth disabling those and trying.

Has it been like that for days? Maybe the server you are hitting has issues and it’s worth trying in a few hours, the repair suggestion is a good one but before that maybe you could into settings, apps and finding store and then selecting reset (i think you may have to click on advanced to see that option). Sometimes when I run into app
problems this has helped me out

Have you tried repairing your OS? Run these tools from an admin command prompt one at a time some will take quite a while to complete don't get impatient let them complete.

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup
    SFC /scannow
    chkdsk C: /f

Yes thanks I tried Reset as well. It has been about 24-48 hours since I noticed it throwing that error.

Clintlgm: never mind, after replying to your post, it showed your command lines properly with line breaks here on the forum... must be a bug with the forum software here

This is a known problem with the 1803 April update on some Win 10 PCs (including mine).

MS are currently working on a fix, just hold the front page for a few more days, weeks or months!!!

Did you try the inplace repair?

Did MS indicate any pattern in devices that don't work?

I ran all the scans suggested - second last one found corrupted files but was able to repair. However, no fix to the Windows Store issue. Also, have not found any documentation stating that this problem is a known Windows 10 v 1803 issue. Therefore only thing left to try is the inplace repair but Im not sure its worth the time/effort. I hardly use the Win Store - this was just for one app. Is there way to access the Store without the app? like just by going to a certain URL on the web?
