Using Windows10 and have a DVD/CD but need a Nero player. There are so many on their web site which do all sorts of different things but all I want is something to create a copy and play a disc. Which one should I purchase please?

VLC will play a dvd, and windows Media player will play a cd.

If you want to buy Nero, then just get the cheapest version that will do what you want it to do.

Burn or Copy ?
They are 2 separate things.
ImageBurn may let you create an image from a dvd, then you`d have to burn it to a dvd. But then there may be copy right issues.

But with sites like this one to download movies, maybe you won`t have to copy or burn any.

And you have to have a dvd/cd burner, not just a dvd/cd player
In my opinion, dvd`s look terrible on a PC.
Thank you for your suggestions. I used to have Nero9 which did burning and playing DVD/CD's and I thought I would be able to get another the same but everything seems to have changed. I don't want to burn DVD from TV shows etc, what I am looking for is something that will let me burn pictures to a disc and then to be able to look at ones I have taken a lot earlier. My apologies if I have not given the correct information.

Ex Nero user here. They / it was good back in the 2000's, but today not so good. +99 for AddRam's suggestions. Much better free ware / open source tools today. All you need is VLC + Imageburn or CDBurnerXP.
