I'm using a Dell Tablet with a small drive. Always fighting to keep my free space. Updates for everything are killing me.

This quote from the App description should be noted. If your intention is to use it to conserve disk space, you may simply be delaying instead of avoiding.

StopUpdates10 can also stop forced upgrades and all update notifications so that you can focus more on your work and less on the updates. The main motive of the tool is not to completely disable updates (it is not recommended as well), but to provide you with an option to block them temporarily.

Updates themselves do not take large amounts of space, but can over time build up. You may want to take a look at maintaining your free space by cleaning out unnecessary and/or outdated data. Using the built-in Disk Cleanup can reduce and free up space used safely. Run periodically will maintain it. Avoiding updates can be a security issue.

On my Tablet I use Disk Cleanup, Ccleaner, Wise Disk Cleaner, Wise Registry Cleaner, and if I Defrag and Optimize, I can get some more room. This I do every other day. As for " Updates themselves do not take up large amounts of space". So you don't consider 989 Megs of Temp files a large amount? I found that on my Tablet two days ago while cleaning. Appeared to be another update in progress. Nothing I could do until it was finished. Then I ran all my cleaners again.

I use Windows Update Blocker. It has a nice interface and simple to use.
