yes, it is called copy and paste or move / cut & paste.
Files only transfer as fast as your system is or network connection is.
To install garbage bloatware to copy files is ridiculous.
If you're copying within your windows device, the fastest alternative to copy/paste is the RoboCopy command line utility, which has an /MT switch to copy several files at the same time!

Using Windows 10 App. Drive to Drive. It says it's copying at 1.5 GB/s.
Files will transfer according to your Computer Specs and/or internet speeds. No software you use or command prompt will not transfer them any faster. GUARANTEED FACT! You can do as many as you want at one time and unattended, I have did it hundreds of times with millions of files.

I use a VPN service, but it's slow.
My home internet runs at 100 Mbps up and down (google fiber), but the VPN limits me to just a few Mbps.

I have a WD 2T HD 7200 RPM. Plugged in as a USB drive, the transfers speed is 7mg/sec, but if I use it as an internal SATA it's about 190mg/sec. I've tried 3 different USB interfaces with the 2T drive with the same results. Other USB HD's...
