Very random program icons filling up photos, pls help me stop this.

Since i got this new pc, ive realized that these weird icons from various random apps have been appearing in my photos app. example: 50 xbox logos in a row varying in size and color or a hundred microphone icons etc. (screenshots attached) apparently some date back to 2003!?!? I got this pc 2 years ago! I've looked around for answers and couldnt find any. they keep showing up at rates of about 50+ per few hours. plz help, this needs to stop.

And btw, there are like THOUSANDS of these.

Click on the three dots in the top right hand corner of the app, and open "settings". Click the X next to folders you don't want to see. Your photos app is picking up gifs and jpegs from various apps. Just select where the photo folders you actually want to see.

i tried that and deleted the (C:) file which i thought would be it but nothing happened, i checked the others but those are fine :/

Hit the Refresh button, exit the App and then start it again.

I literally hit the x on all of the folders, refreshed, exited the app, and everything is still there. im now officially confused

ok update: alot went away finally but alot are still hanging around. under folders (not in settings) it says Local Disk (C:) is still a folder and it doesnt show up in settings. it is holding the rest of the annoying pictures that i want to delete. Buuut they are all in their own little folders and it would take years to just individually delete the photos
