Hi, if you're repeatedly encountering corruption, check your disk. (I don't know what sort it is, so will assume HDD).

Try Hard Disk Sentinel (trial) - very clear report- or failing that, HD Tune - SMART params. You can also do a surface scan with that.
HD Tune v2.55 Review (Free Hard Drive Testing Tool)

    If that passes, try
    chkdsk C: /SCAN
    - this should run, report, but won't fix things- for that use

From an admin command or powershell prompt
[Windows key + X, click command prompt (admin)]
    chkdsk C: /F
Your PC will need to restart.
Post back the result, which you can get after a restart as follows:

Ok, don't just run chkdsk. Use the disk checking programs I mentioned. These do NOT do anything like the same thing.

I ran the HD Tune and no errors. I ran something that I forgot to mention and it said there was no corrupt store files which really confused me cause why would it not work unless there were bad files, that's why I decided to leave it alone.

Ok, if I understand the sequence, you experienced the problem, did an in-place upgrade repair install, and the problem recurred.

"Cannot find path 'C:\AppXManifest.xml' because it does not exist"

    is probably the key message.

Researching that gives quite a few results.

    E.g.
Microsoft store app not working! [Solved] - Microsoft - Apps General Discussion
runs through a similar sequence - and disk issues were not found. No resolution though.

    This:
Having problems running a PowerShell script to repair missing Start Menu Icons - Windows 10 Support
    seems to resolve the error.

If that doesn't help, do further searches on
Cannot find path 'C:\AppXManifest.xml' because it does not exist

At a guess that's a temporarily created file- I do not have it in that location.

Thanks I'll try that. The problem was there before I did the in place install. That's why I did the install because I was trying all the repairs my searches said to do and it messed up more. After I did the in place I got some of the store apps working but not all, store and mail, weather those won't open.

If your problem started after upgrading to the April 2018 build, and you are within 10 days of having done so, you could try reverting to build 16299 (1709).

What is your current build? (Windows key + R, winver).
