Minipartition tool broken on 1803 + updates (Storage spaces ?)

The Mini partition tool seems to be broken on my system(s) --W10 X64 pro 1803 with latest updates.

It might be because I'm using storage spaces on these systems which the tool doesn't like.

Don't have any problem with GPARTED though -- however don't touch those with any partition manager.

    Cheers

If you mean this, I used it the other day and have it installed. Also works with 17666.

I have Partition Wizard Pro 9.1 and Partition Wizard Free (portable) 10. Both open and appear to be functional in 1803 (x64). I now get a notification from Controlled Folder Access though, didn't get that in 1709. Shouldn't be an issue, it's easy enough to add PW as an exception, or just turn off Controlled Folder Access temporarily.

    Hi there
tried on a laptop without storage spaces -- worked OK so it's obviously the storage spaces.
I have 3 X 3TB drives on desktop (tower system) as a storage space which windows sees as 1 single HDD -- got it in striped mode (essentially RAID 0 for speed - I've enough backup if I lose the array).

Bootable GPARTED shows these 3 HDD's as discrete HDD's with an unknown file system - C, and D drives fine and partitions can be manipulated OK.

Perhaps I'll send the dump off - but I don't think the tool supports what is essentially software RAID. I still think it should ignore those HDD's rather than just dump.

    Cheers

I'm with Bree -- both paid and free versions of MTPW work on 1803 in a variety of configurations and platforms (none of which use Storage Spaces). You definitely should send them some feedback about this. Bet they didn't test it that way...
