    In the end I decided to simply log out of my account in the Windows Store (Open the Store > Click on your profile pic > log out) and then logged back in, and lo and behold, I can download stuff again!
    Hope this saves you the reinstall.
    I have been having this issue with windows store not download at all, I did what you suggest, and did the trick, never would have ever thought such a simple problem of login out and login back in would solve this, thank you very much.
