MS Translator. New version installed ?

I used Translator the other day (one with the blue and white tile from the store) and it was fine, all as expected. I clean installed it the other day when I did a clean install of the April 2018 Update, and today when I go to use it I get a totally different version. Not only that, the start menu tile has now changed to a blank green square. When the app opened it asked questions about integrating with Cortana. I don't want all that, I just want it to work on demand when needed.

I'm not quite sure if I'm annoyed or not tbh. Actually yes, I am annoyed that a major change has occurred to a clean install without any warning.

    Still whinging

The colour scheme looks awful to me. There is an old rhyme that says 'Blue and green should never be seen, without a colour in between'. There doesn't seem to be an easy way to link to Translator and so use a custom shortcut and tile.

All very minor in the scheme of things I know... however :)
