    Windows 10 detects "Everything" by "Voidtools" as a game

    How can I remove Everything voidtools from XBox?
    It's not a game but a search utility!

    Windows 10 thinks it's a game, probably because its exe is named "Everything.exe" as the game on Steam!

    For software that is not removed by using control panel or device manager there may be software vendor specific uninstall tools. The software uninstall tools are common for antivirus/firewall software. In case there are no vendor specific uninstall tools you may be able to use Revo uninstaller:
    Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems

    Ccleaner sometimes come in handy to remove residual software.

    Before you use any of the tools please perform the following steps:
    1) Backup all files to another drive or to the cloud
    2) Make a backup image with Macrium:
    Macrium Software | Macrium Reflect Free
    3) Make a brand new restore point

    Also of course, a report of the issue to the developer may be an option with the most chance of success, after all, it's in the developers interest to work well with Windows, (or in this instance the xBox subsystem), and it is their executable so they can change the name if this is causing the issue

    1. it's not a installation problem. The tool is correctly installed and configured.
    2. the problem is probably in poor XBox system that detects the tool "Everything.exe" as a game just because has a game with the same EXE name in its internal DB (notice I don't have this game, and is not installed in my system)! It's a mistake from XBox tool and games auto-detect system.

    Temporary workaround (let's see if Windows will change it over time):

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\GameConfigStore\Children\f0681e8b-e348-45ac-9f0b-60895cf8697f
    and modified the Values:
    Flags=15 (hexadecimal, was 11 hexadecimal)
    Type=0 (was 1)
