What up, Voitek? Your post was the most recent one I found when looking for someone with the same issue as I had — and I just fixed mine!!! It's slightly different, but I think it may apply to yours. My issue was with 'New Window' windows for folder or inboxes, and my solution was to delete the registry key named 'Frame' at this location:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Office Explorer
If yours are isolated to message windows, then I'd maybe try deleting the 'Frame' key at this location instead:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Message

Here's hoping it works, because I probably won't remember I have this forum account!

This solution works if you go to registry editor, have the Outlook window opened and sized. Then delete the "Frame" entry. Close Outlook. Then refresh the registry window and redelete the "Frame" then restart Win 10. Once restarted, I found the Outlook window reopened in the last position. That's what work for me. I had to restart, then open Outlook and it did so with the last position. There may be another registry entry that I don't know about which also has control as well. That "other" registry entry seems to have overriding control.

Right click the title menu, choose size, then use the keyboard arrow keys to make one side where you want it. Repeat for each side. Finally close the program. It seems to remember it that way.
You, sir, are a god! I've been searching off and on for months on this niggling issue. Now I can move on and obsess over something else Microsoft refuses to fix!
