Skyrim crashing with Exception code: 0xc0000417 , what's broken?

Ok, so, three times today Skyrim has just crashed to desktop, no pop ups, no warnings, one minute i am riding across Skyrim on horseback and the next I am looking at the desktop. The last crash left the following in the Application Event Viewer -

Faulting application name: TESV.exe, version: 1.9.32.0, time stamp: 0x51437ce5
Faulting module name: TESV.exe, version: 1.9.32.0, time stamp: 0x51437ce5
    Exception code: 0xc0000417
    Fault offset: 0x00b53759
    Faulting process id: 0x44b8
    Faulting application start time: 0x01d3c7b0da66f31a
    Faulting application path: E:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\TESV.exe
    Faulting module path: E:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\TESV.exe
    Report Id: e3793a9c-ff6f-4b3c-9a7e-fd92e433d02b
    Faulting package full name:
    Faulting package-relative application ID:

Doesn't tell me anything, what does exception code 417 mean ? At least a place to start in figuring out what is *now* wrong with Skyrim. >.< It's up to date, it's on Steam which auto updates the games.

    Hi llloyd4

Not a gamer but was wondering if you've checked out to see if there are any Skyrim forums?

In the event viewer are you see any errors just before your game crashes?

Is your Windows fully up to date? Right click start, click run, type winver, enter.

While this is a really old post some of the remedies could apply.

Basically ensuring no hardware errors ( chkdsk ) and updating drivers. Not saying to update your BIOS but maybe look if a BIOS update is available.
