    Software to control fan speed

    Hi All,

I'm looking for a program that can control each fan's speed on my mainboard based on temperature (CPU, GPU accordingly). I've already tried Speedfan but after installed, no fan was recognized and CPU's temperature is wrong. Thanks for your advice.:)

Try to install Intel INF Update Driver before running speedfan:

What motherboard do you have? Fan control tends to be manufacturer-specific so you'll most likely have to use the utility from them.

Also you may try this - your ntb *should* be supported:

My mobo is Gigabyte Z370XP-SLI. I also tried to use its utility but it cannot read my GPU's temperature and that's why I want to find a software that run on Windows which can read all of those temp info from CPU, GPU.

Sorry but the program has been recommended according to your system specs, you did not notice the other system.

Anyway, there are many utilities for your mobo at Gigabyte site, for example Platform Power Management. Try them yourself. Same for Power Settings in BIOS if any.

HWiNFO is able to read the CPU and GPU temperatures, as well as trigger external programs if the temperature exceeds/drops a certain value.

However, I haven't found any universal utilities that can actually control the fans on my ASRock Z370. You may want to check on the Gigabyte forums to see if there's any command line or other way to interface with the Gigabyte fan control utility.

I've found a software that meets all my requirements (although it's not a freeware). Thanks for all your help.
