Deleted program still recognised by Windows

Hi. My BitDefender antivirus was playing up yet again so I uninstalled it. For some reason, BitDefender comes in two parts, the AV itself and an 'agent' (bdagent.exe). I uninstalled both and also went through the registry to delete items with those names.

When I go to customise my taskbar, bdagent is still showing as an option. Can anyone suggest why this is and how I can remove it from the list of options? Thank you.

Thanks, dalchina, but I was actually just using bitdefender as an example. There's another uninstalled program on the list as well - I didn't mention it so as to keep my query simple. So I'd still like to find out how an uninstalled program is listed as an option for showing on the taskbar (and how to get rid of that option...). Thanks again.

AV programs aside, for programs you download and install from the internet other than store apps, you can:
    - use Revo uninstaller (e.g.) - browse to any remaining exe's you can find and do a scan

    - reinstall the program (counter-intuitive), and then use Revo or Geek uninstaller (free) to uninstall the program including a scan afterwards.
